We should have the ability to lock the Project Status update access to Project Owners and Project admins.
Don’t forget to click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the Vote button at the top-left; that’s the quickest and most effective way to express your support for a request.
Thanks,
Larry

In my organisation we have process/governance controls communicated that the ‘project manager’ who owns the critical path is the only one who should update project status updates, and this works well. But it would be great to have this ability to define in Asana ‘who’ updates the project status, even going so far as ‘assigning’ it - as I have 2 teams who work collaboratively on projects so both teams need to be either project admins/editors.
