I personally feel that the folder tree structure does not suit Asana, or rather, that it fails to adequately convey the intended organisation.

Ideally, I would prefer a two-dimensional display such as this one.
What are your thoughts?

Asana Work Graph - as a feature

I really wish that I could use Asana to generate a visual representation of a Work Graph similar to the figure that Asana uses to display when explaining the relationships between an organization’s goals, portfolios, projects, and tasks. I have a nested portfolio structure, and it would really be nice to see that visually when I am explaining it to others. [image]

I have seen a demo of this 3rd party tool which is primarily built for auditing purposes but can display and very impressive tree hierarchy of goals, teams / portfolios, projects etc. [Screenshot 2025-09-21 at 12.48.48]
