Some tasks assigned to me are not showing in “My tasks”. Not showing in “recently added”, not showing in “today”. I tried literally everything. It’s just not working. And it cancels the whole point of using Asana, if I cannot see in one place all my tasks. I have to go through each project and check.
Welcome to the community… What you are indicating is definitely not normal behaviour…
Couple of questions for you and for you to check.
- Are you creating the tasks or is someone else?
- If someone else make sure that they are use the correct user in your domain… As if it is is another domain it won’t appear unless you are in that account.
- Check to make sure what view you have in My Task for example if you have it as calendar it won’t show items with out dates.
- Also check any filters set to hide certain tasks.

Have you tried searching or using advanced search (paid plan) to locate the task then opening it on the task detail pane?
That will allow you to confirm that it’s assigned to you and, if so, which section in My Tasks it’s found in, and other info about the task.
