I noticed this in a cleint’s space too!
Not sure we need more options for email notifications, but the Portfolio notifications are definitely welcome. 
New settings are rare so I greet them with open arms! I think some will really appreciate this one which has been requested.
I have had a few people complain about the Like notifications. I did wonder myself a while back if that was really useful, as people sometimes tend to use them too much…
But it only seems that you can turn off Like notifications for Emails, not notifications in the Asana Inbox.
