2 suggestions for the portfolio status update emails:
1.) Ability to choose frequency of portfolio status email updates. Our team updates the portfolio status bi-weekly so our leadership team is getting the same exact update 2 weeks in a row.
2.) Ability to turn off the portfolio status email updates for certain portfolios. We have several portfolios that track work that does not require any status updates. For example, we have a portfolio that houses all of our templates and emails are generated weekly for this portfolio.
Thank you,
Rhonda Cusack

Hi @Rhonda_Cusack, thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback!
Hopefully our Product team can implement some changes to Portfolio status update emails in the future. I’ll keep you posted and let you know if I have any updates to share

I’m not sure if there are already requests for this so please merge if so.
Our company is making a commitment to promote no work over the weekends unless you have weekend shifts. In the current state, Asana does not allow you to schedule the weekly portfolio email. By default, it is sent on Sundays and is a major concern for us. We need the ability to choose our own dates to be customized by each team. Given Asana has date features within its tasks already, I don’t see how this can’t be an easy release.

Hi @AndySaavedra, thanks for providing this feedback. I love that your company is committing to promoting no work over weekends!
While this feature isn’t available at this time, hopefully it’s something our Product team can implement in the future.
We do have an existing thread for this feature request in the #productfeedback category so I’ve gone ahead and merged your post with the existing one to consolidate feedback.
I’ll keep you posted and let you know if I have any updates

In our use case we have a porfolio to keep our completed projects so that it is easy to refer to completed projects.
For this portfolio we don’t need to receive any weekly report mail.
It would also be nice to be able to configure this on a per user basis.
and again… basics which asana cant handle. Thats not funny!
+1 to this request. We should be able to control what communications are sent to our stakeholder teams and not generate “noise”. Not having the two functionalities described by Rhonda makes us want to move out of Asana to a tool that can better control our stakeholder engagement.
