Populate Fields from Task in Rule

I’m using the Rules to send an email when a task is added from a form submission in my project. My question is, is there a way to call in/populate custom fields from the task itself into the body of the email that the rule is sending?

I believe this is not yet possible indeed, but seems like a natural next step. Asana does not communicate on its roadmap so I can’t say much more sorry :slight_smile:

Hi @anon66945169,

FYI this is definitely possible via our Flowsana integration. Our Send an email notification rule action fully supports our Variable Substitution feature.
