Variable Substitution in Custom Fields- "Create a Task" Action

I’ve run into quite a few scenarios using the “Create a Task” action where it would be super beneficial to have certain custom fields inherit their values from the trigger task. Our team uses subtasks to document workflow and progress in the requests we get from clients. However, many tasks have secondary workflows that are separate from the main workflow. While having tasks in multiple projects is usually convenient, it would be nice to be able to duplicate the task in these situations to keep our data tracking separate and more clean.

I would love to have the option to select “value of the trigger task” for the custom fields in the example above, similar to the options you have available for the task name, assignee, due date, etc. I should also mention that I am on a Legacy Business plan.

P.S. I imagine Flowsana probably has these features, but my company doesn’t want to use it. Not an option for me unfortunately.

Would be really great if it support some “programming” like calculating dates and times from etc etc, e.g. set this field to 22 hours from now or setting a custom field to a template string
