Permanently hiding field in board view

I would like to hide a custom field on the board view. I found instructions on how to do that on the forum. I successfully hid the field by clicking “hide” and toggling the field to off. That worked but when I reopen the project the field is there again. Is there a way to hide it permantently?

I attached a screenshot showing the field I want to hide. Again, I was able to hide it. But then it reappeared when I closed and reopened the project.

Hi! Not perminantly but when you apply this you can then click the save button on the right and do a save for everyone. This means it will keep the hide unless you remove it.
