Permanently Delete Projects & Permanently Deleting Tasks in Bulk

Hi there, I’m trying to permanently delete a project (manually, not waiting for the 30 day period per Asana’s data retention policy), but I don’t see any way to do that. When I go to the deleted items, the only options when I right-click on the deleted project are Open in a New Tab, Copy Project Link, Rename Project, or Un/Archive Project; and clicking on it directly goes to a page where I can restore the project. Is there a way to manually delete the project sooner than the 30 day policy?

Secondly, is there a way to bulk-permanently-delete tasks? I’ve seen several topics in here about it and can’t find one that indicates this is something we can do. I tried selecting multiple tasks, and I can delete them, but the Permanently Delete option does not come up like when you delete a single task.

Thanks!

Welcome, @dcdcdc01,

Not that I know of; sorry, but you could try asking Support for help: see How to contact our Support Team.

Thanks, Larry! I’ll do both (though I can’t believe something that a feature people have been wanting and asking for since 2018 still hasn’t happened! Wild!).

I hear you…but see my answer to a different thread, but also an old request so the same answer applies:
