I’m trying to use Reporting to find orphaned tasks from my team:
But when i click on the 161 tasks from 2018 none actually show up:

When you say “orphaned tasks…from my team” what do you mean, exactly?
Because when you use “Include tasks from Direct Team” that means they’re not orphaned (in the usual definition) because you’re asking for tasks that belong to a project found in Direct Team.
Are you looking for incomplete tasks that were originally created by someone on your team and that are not found in any project? Consider an starred advanced search report:
You may want to unchecked the Subtasks checkbox in yours.
