On-hold project moved to "No recent updates".

You can give projects a status (On track, At risk, Off track, on-hold, completed).

What I have seen that a project (which was on-hold) and had the latest update on June 7th (As expected) have now been moved to: “No recent updates”.

Is there any setting / logic in Asana to move such a project from “On-hold” to “No recent updates”?

Thanks.

Yes, it is after a certain number of days without a status update, whatever the current status is (can’t remember if 30 or 60 or 90 though)

@Niels_Oomen @Bastien_Siebman How I understand it is that the project is still on hold, it’s just not visible. I think the reasoning is that you don’t want to assume the status is still accurate if it goes a long time without an update.

With Rules for Portfolios or Projects in development I’m hoping this opens possibilities for automatically editing fields based on status updates, which should allow you to automatically change the status field in a permanently visible way, aswell as allow for more nuance to the status.

I’d keep the Asana created status field active though to spot when it was a long time since the update:

It’s 13 weeks (i.e 90 days), according to @Emily, here.

This indeed was the answer. In my case it was exactly 13 weeks.
