Don't change project status from ON-HOLD to NO RECENT UPDATES automatically (only manually)

Dear all,

In Asana you can give projects a status (On track, At risk, Off track, on-hold, completed).

What I have noticed that a project which was “ON-HOLD” changes it status automatically into “NO RECENT UPDATES” after 90 dates.

Is there any setting / logic in Asana to undo this functionality? I do not want to have this changed automatically; I want the status to remain ON HOLD as long as needed and only to be changed manually.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Regards

Hi @Jean-Pierre_Vos , I can’t speak on behalf of Asana on the ‘why’ they have this functionality. I suppose that beyond 90 days, an update would be considered ‘irrelevant’ or simply ‘old news’ but I appreciate that would not be the case for all customers or particular projects, especially when it comes to the On-hold status which realistically, a project could be on hold for much longer than 90 days.

If it helps, I found an existing thread which you can vote on having this feature removed:
