New form question type: information

There have been a couple of instances with forms where we would like to present users with more information based on a previous field selection. We’ve resorted to using a heading, but the styling isn’t ideal - the text comes out bold with no padding/spacing beneath, and any trailing blanks spaces or hidden characters are stripped before display:

I’d like to propose a new “Information” question type to go along with the Heading that displays the text in the same font and with the same spacing as the field-type questions.

Some basic formatting wouldn’t go amiss, allowing us to include links, strong text, and emphasis (maybe lists, too).

Until/if this Asana adds this feature, this “hack” might provide a workaround to accomplish just what you’re requesting:

It’s clear that one can add overall form help at the top of a form using the Form Description. And in every question, there’s a Help Description to provide an explanation of that question. But there’s no question type to drag into your form simply to provide some text without actually asking a question. Why would you need that? Perhaps to designate a new section of a form, to provide instructions for the next set of questions in a form branch, or to use at the end of a branch to direct the us…

I’m actually inclined to merge this into this existing thread:

Forms - Ability to add text boxes or images to form (without the field included)

When building a form can we please have the ability to add a plain text book or image box - this might be to provide basic instructions (e.g. Contact XXX) or to simply break up lengthy forms. This is a fairly standard feature on most form templates and should be a very easy change to implement. Thank you!
