This seems to be a feature already of Project List View, where you can collapse a Section and then save the view, and the default load of that Project will have that section collapsed.
I would like the same for My Tasks, when tasks are Grouped.
E.g. I am Grouping by Due Date ASC.
I am the opposite of the ask in My Tasks list when sorted by Due Date has "Past due" collapsed as default…would prefer it expanded and want the top group, “Before April 2024,” to save as being auto-collapsed . I would also want the “August 2024” group to be auto-collapsed.
This would allow me to focus on tasks:
- Just past the due date
- Currently due
- Due soon
- No due date (but recently added, so important to see/triage/consider)
Of course, many others will have different requirements for which Grouped sections they would like to be expanded or collapsed by default.
It’d be great to have this ‘Save view’ option for My Tasks. (And even to have tabs with different views, as you can do in Projects.)
