My Tasks puts subtasks under "No Project"

When I go to the “My Tasks” page on the Asana app and filter my tasks by project, a large number of them are put under a category called “No Project” even though they have a project assigned. Upon closer look, Asana is only having this problem with subtasks. How do I make these subtasks show up under their assigned project in the My Tasks view, rather than this weird “No Project” section?

Note that when I click on these subtasks within the My Tasks view and assign them to the intended project, it creates a NEW parent tasks under that project which is duplicative and not the intention.

Browser version: Happens on both desktop and web-based application

Welcome, @Jonah_Kurman-Faber,

I’m afraid this is the intended behavior.
