No Project for Subtasks in Task List?

A user in my org is trying to organize her task list and brought up to me that her subtasks in her task list view are showing under the “No Project” heading. Why would they show as No Project when they are clearly a subtask of a task in X project.

Is this the case for all subtasks or is this a bug?

See screenshot for example:

Hi @AshleyWright  Thank you so much for reaching out.

It is indeed the case for all subtasks. By default, subtasks do not inherit their parent task project. You can find more information in this handy article: https://asana.com/guide/help/tasks/subtasks#gl-subtask-project

You can manually add the project by using the Tab+P shortcut or by going to the upper right drop-down and selecting “Add to Project.”

You can learn more about Keyboard Shortcuts in the following article: https://asana.com/guide/help/faq/shortcuts

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any follow-up question!
