I’ve looked at other posts and most answers are about who assigned the tasks and what workspace you’re in. I launch and assign all projects and tasks in my team of 3. This app becomes useless if it doesn’t display correctly, so I want to be sure it’s not me. See photos of a task in my Home Screen vs tasks last due in the My Tasks Screen. When I toggle away from “Recently Assigned” there are no tasks in any other view. I want to see past due and upcoming (my definition) tasks in one place, like I imagine 100% of the users would want

Do you have rules set up? I’m asking because it may have pushed that task into a different section.

You can set up My Tasks with different filters, sorts, groups. You may want to check which are applied because your “missing” tasks may just be hidden as a result.
You might find it easier to debug this on the web or desktop version of Asana.

I haven’t created any rules. I haven’t applied any filters. I verified there none except not completed. The list “should” be thorough.
To put this in a better perspective, I’ve overlaid the daily email I received showing tasks due Friday, but that are not displayed in the app. I’m also showing the filters in place. This is so unintuitive. I truly would appreciate some understanding.
The “Recently Assigned” section in your screenshot is collapsed. What do you see when you expand it?
There are quite a few listed there. Again, not intuitive, since there are tasks from months ago in this view.
Yes, My Tasks used to have built-in auto-promotion of tasks into the sections that you were probably looking for them to be in. But now you need to create rules to have tasks go where you want based on your model of working.
