🎉 Multiple approvers are now live in Timesheets and Budgets add-on (TBAO)

Hi Community :waving_hand:

Two situations came up repeatedly in Timesheets and Budgets add-on (TBAO) approvals. When the assigned reviewer was out, someone had to contact a domain admin to manually swap the reviewer in settings, which created a lot of administrative back-and-forth. And when someone else needed visibility into timesheets, there was no way to give it to them without the same workaround.

Well, you can check this one off your list. Multiple approvers are now live in the Timesheets and Budgets add-on! :tada:

You can add everyone who needs to review directly to the timesheet, a direct manager, a senior manager, a backup for when someone’s out, and all of them can review, approve, export, and edit from that one timesheet. Approval is first-come rather than staged, so there’s no fixed sequence between reviewers.

:light_bulb: A couple of things worth knowing before you set it up: every approver gets full review and approval permissions, there’s no read-only option for now. Super admins don’t get automatic access to other users’ timesheets either. They’d need to be added as a reviewer to see one.

This update closes an open product feedback thread in the Community. Thanks to @Lucyana_Randall for creating the request Multiple Reviewers in Timesheet Add-On, and to everyone who voted or shared how their teams handle timesheet review in the comments.

This is the first step toward more flexible approval workflows in TBAO. We’re exploring what else could make this work better for different team structures, so keep the feedback coming.

If this was a blocker for your team, let us know if it does the trick. And if you’re thinking about getting TBAO, this Help Center article is a good place to start!
