Is it possible to multi-home tasks on different boards if you are not the project board owner. I am getting tagged on task that are on private boards but I need to keep track of the comments. How can i multi home a task if i am not the task or project board owner?

Welcome, @Ade,
Asana uses a layered approach, with overrides possible, to access rights to work objects.
You can ask the Project Admin of a project to make you at least an Editor in your membership in the project so that you can multi-home tasks there and see all other tasks in that project.
