Move tasks in different stages

Hello,

I have created three stages in Asana of a process:
Stage 1: Received Rates ( Section 1)

  • From A
  • From B
  • From C
    Stage 2: Rates Saved in System 1 ( Section 2)
    - From A
  • From B
  • From C
    Stage 2: Rates Saved in System 2 ( Section 3)
    - From A
  • From B
  • From C

Is there a rule that I can create to automatically move each task once it’s completed in each section? i.e. Once rates are received “From A” there will be a new pending task in "rates to be saved in system 1 for “From A”.

You can indeed create Rule to move tasks to specific Sections. :slight_smile:

My suggestion here would be to create a Progress/Stage custom field - for example, Stage 1 Done, Stage 2 Done and so on. Then you can create a Rule that moves a task to Stage 2, once the custom field is marked as “Stage 1 Complete” → “Move to Section: Stage 2”
