Hi all,
I am new to Asana and currently am doing implementation planning to start using Asana at work.
I don’t seem to be able to find out if the following is doable:
Let say I have the following sections:
To do, Doing, Approval, Done
I have a rule to automatically create a sub task to get approval.
Is there a way for me to block moving a task to “Done” unless sub-task to get approval has been marked as completed.
Thank you.

Welcome, @bnedev ,
Sorry, that’s not possible in native Asana. Perhaps @Phil_Seeman ’s Flowsana can help (not sure).
Thanks,
Larry

Thanks for confirming @lpb . I wonder if this is on their radar to implement. Coming from another tool, it feels strange a task can move freely between sections without the ability of creating logic.

I think it’s likely on their radar, @bnedev , but no telling if/when since they don’t publish a roadmap.

Alas Flowsana doesn’t have anything that can help for this particular scenario.
