I vote for a custom field to support any URI scheme accoring to the official list: Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) Schemes
So far only common schemes will be transformed to links when entered in a custom field of type “text”. It seems like there is a predefined set that is supported by Asana. To keep things flexible and easy to maintain, Asana should support a custom field called “URI scheme” and anything that is entered in this field will be displayed as clickable link.
Other tools like Todoist support this and allow you to use any kind of URI scheme to define clickable links to resources.
