Mapping Task Custom Fields to Project Custom Fields

I’d like to map my custom fields from tasks to the Project level custom fields so our Portfolio view shows the most recent fields. I have tried using Asana rules and Zapier, and cannot find a solution.

When a task custom field is updated, update the same field at the Project level. Can this be done? Thank you.

Asana sees portfolio and project fields as having different purposes, so there’s not an easy way to accomplish what you’re asking.

If you might want to pursue a different approach, please feel free to describe the underlying need that you’re trying to satisfy in case there’s another way.
