Is there a way to view the custom fields I’ve added to a project, within the task, in this new Asana visual update?
Can you clarify what you mean? There is the option to filter by project in the Custom fields tab under Workflow to see which custom fields belong to which project (see screenshot).
Sorry for not being clear, I’m still getting used to the forum. I’m commenting on the window where we can see the task in detail. In the old version, we could modify the field directly from the task. In the new version, we need to go into the project to make the change. I wanted to know if there’s any way to go back to being able to modify the field directly from the task.
In the new version, you can still expand the project to view its custom fields and edit their values directly from that grid in the task detail pane.
(Note that in your top screenshot showing the new version, that task is not yet attached to any projects so there will be no custom fields to show/modify at that point.)
Thanks @Phil_Seeman for jumping in, that was going to be my response as well! Hope this helps @Darlan_Henrique_Nasc
