Manage Dependencies and Blockers between Tasks

Hi All, I am Emmanuel Katto. I am new to Asana. I want to know How do you manage dependencies and blockers between tasks? Are there any custom fields or workflows that you’ve created to track these? Please let me know.

Welcome to the forum :slight_smile:

First I’d check out Asana’s help article, these articles often answer most questions about features: https://help.asana.com/hc/en-us/articles/14078761989531-Task-dependencies

You can also visualise the dependencies in a column using the show/hide button just above your tasks in the project.

Timeline or Gannt views also help to more easily manage dependencies though they will only become visible when the tasks have a deadline
