The Asana app is displaying a red badge on the app icon (see screenshot) and it can’t be disabled.
Troubleshooting I’ve tried:
- Disable all the notification within the app that I can find
- Disabling notification in Notification Center is impossible, Asana doesn’t show up there
- Restarting computer
- Reinstalling Asana by deleting app in the “Applications” folder and reinstalling
- I called Apple and they were quite clear that it’s an Asana issue not an Apple one
- The steps suggested in this forum post. I couldn’t get a notification to trigger by setting a due date on a card.
These terminal commands do disable it but they don’t last through a restart
$ defaults write com.apple.asana AttentionPrefBundleIDs 0
$ killall Dock
