Lost desktop notifications - can't bring them back.

Hi there.

For the last week, I don’t get any desktop notifications coming from Asana on Firefox (they were working just fine earlier). What’s even stranger is that I don’t have an option for the setting the desktop notifications back in Firefox anymore!

What I did trying to fix the problem:

  • Opened Asana in a private window - didn’t help.

  • Opened Firefox without the addons - didn’t help either.

  • Checked whether I have the push notifications blocked - no, I don’t. I do get the notifications from other websites as usual.

  • Checked whether Asana has permissions for sending me notifications - yes, it has (I don’t have the notification icon in the bar though).

  • Reinstalled the Firefox browser (version 94.0.1) - still no notifications from Asana.

The notifications do work as usual on Google Chrome but since I don’t even use this browser, it would be kinda problematic to keep using it just to get notifications from one app.

Any idea what might be the issue here?

In this case, i’d suggest reaching out to our Support team as they have access to additional tools that we don’t have here on the Community team to be able to look into this further for you.
