Hi all, just wanted to ask a quick question… is there a way to lock out users to comment after a task is completed? I don’t want to move it to a new project with different permissions on tasks, I want to keep it in the same project, but have it so no one except like editors and above can comment. Is that possible? New future feature?
This isn’t possible now in Asana, so…
I’ve moved your post to where you can click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the Vote button.
It’s clunky, but until/if that request is implemented, you could implement a rule that flags after the fact that a comment has been added to a completed task and perhaps following it with another comment saying this is not allowed but…clunky, as I said!
Thanks,
Larry
Ah ok, thought so. Thanks! This would be a great feature to implement. I get a lot of tasks that once completed requestors still comment and ask for more to do instead of filling out a new request.
That’s a great use case…and I realize I had forgotten to vote so I just remedied that!
Or add a post pinned with an image saying
DO NOT COMMENT!
but, I like your idea more. Voted.
