I can’t figure out the behavior of creating a new task while in List View. When I click Add Task, it inserts the new task after the currently selected task but what if I want to create a task at the top of a specific section? Is there any way to do this without having to manually drag the task up the list after creating it?
@Tyson, You an use a shortcut:
Click on text of the first task in the section and type Shift+Return to insert the new blank task above.

That’s what I needed. Thanks!

There is two problems with the suggested solution:
- It doesn’t work if a section does not have any items yet
- It feels very unintuitive and every time I do this proposed workaround, it feels like the product is broken.
I vote for adding a (+) next to the section name that adds an empty task to the bottom of the section.
@Andrin_von_Rechenber and @Tyson , Another option: If you click a Section name’s text and then hit Return, it adds a new task at the top of the Section, even if the section is empty, the same as your proposed “+” would. Sorry, should have mentioned this in my last post too.
