As a PM, I’m moving my team from Jira to Asana, and one big gap in being able to create the repots I need to is the option to include a list of tasks in a dashboard (similar to the sprint report or custom dashboard capability in Jira)
Hi @Alex_Olmstead welcome to the forum
If Asana’s native dashboards within projects or Reporting or Stauts Updates (in which you can drag and drop lists of tasks into) don’t cover your needs, you may want to try Instagantt (free for up to 3 projects) or Screenful (21 day free trial).
No affiliation, just highly recommended
This is actually something that I have been looking for.
I should be able to have a custom report, in a list view, where I can use filters to bring the tasks I want.
For instance, I want to see a list of tasks that:
- Belong to a specific portfolio (or specific projects)
- Are overdue
With the columns being:
- Assignee
- Due date
- Priority
- Project
This is just an example, but one that I am sure many users relate to.
I know that we have a chart for overdue tasks per assignee, but is does not bring the level of detail that I need. I need to do a lot of clicks to check this…
Is there anything on the roadmap around this? This would be a game changer when it comes to reporting…
Thanks!
