Link to an email message directly (Mac OSX)

Hello, I’m trying to add a hyperlink in a task description that points to a specific email message in my Apple Mail.

I can create the mentioned hyperlink and follow it from apps within OSX, even pasting it to the browser’s address bar works by opening the required message, however it does not work from Asana’s task description or comment fields because Asana “thinks” it is an email address.

It looks something like this: message://%3c39001465-50be-11e9-8000-1c7d222797be@1c7d222797be%3e

Any ideas?

Creating a link to an e-mail in Apple mail is possible by dragging the mail into let’s say TextEdit.

But dragging it into asana does not work unfortunately. Maybe here is something interesting for a ‘quick’ fix for the asana team? This, or a shortly combination like Omnifocus has to create a task based on something you selected. For example text but also an e-mail in Apple mail.

It would be a mayor help to create tasks from my mailbox.
