Feature Request:
When a user leaves our organization or team in Asana, removing their account currently results in their name disappearing from all completed tasks, causing us to lose essential historical information.
We’d like an option to:
Retain the user’s name and historical record on completed tasks
Fully remove user’s access and permissions
This allows accurate historical records without risking unauthorized access.
Currently, when a team member leaves our organization, removing them from Asana causes their name to disappear from all tasks they have completed. This results in the loss of critical historical information and creates confusion regarding past responsibilities and task completion. Manually tagging each of their tasks with their name is extremely inefficient, especially when the user has completed hundreds or even thousands of tasks.
This default behavior makes it unnecessarily difficult to maintain accountability, conduct audits, or simply reference historical workloads accurately. When removing a user from an Asana organization, their historical record and association with completed tasks should remain intact by default (or at least as an easily selectable option).
