I’m wondering if anyone has had this issue with divisions & how they’ve addressed it.
I work for a department within a university. As our email domain is the same as other departments within the university already using Asana, we were added as a division. Our department functions as independent of other departments and does not need roll up of anything across other departments. We have also had issues with functionality because of it.
- Other departments having access to use our custom fields
- No super admin so no full access to admin controls, including being able to update our fiscal year for use with goals
- Issues with goal tracking - we were expecting our department to be the top level company so we could see all goals across our departments teams in the strategy map or drill down by specific team. Because the university domain is the top level, we can only see one team at a time or see all goals public to the entire university domain.
Not sure if anyone has faced this or has suggestions, but it is causing frustration across our team and limiting our use. Appreciate any suggestions.
