Is there any way or workaround to add a status "In Progress" for any task in Personal plan?

When I am working on a task, I want that task to differentiate itself from other tasks so that I know it’s in progress. Without paid features, it’s not possible, that I know.

I thought I could use “Priority” feature for that purpose, but the values and colors can’t be edited in Personal plan.

I know I could create a group named “In Progress” and then drag and drop tasks there, but that’s tedious.

So is there any workaround?

The problem with Tags is, there are no tags in Mobile app. Are there? I can’t add any tag Column in mobile app for list view. It’s not even listed in available fields, unlike desktop.

I don’t think they are available in List view, only in task detail.

FYI the answer is the same for iOS - you can add tags to a task in a task’s detail, not in list view.
