Yes, you are right. The most recent update is the periodic repeat but it wont give you what you are after.

Here is an open product feedback which I suggest you upvote at the top of it.

Set tasks to repeat on a certain day of every n-th month (Repeats: Custom)

After seeing the option to set tasks to repeat on a certain day of the month being released (Set tasks to repeat on a certain day of the month ), I’d love to see this feature being carried over to the custom repeats option. For example: repeat every 2nd Monday of every 3rd Month.
