Slack recently came out with Canvas, a sort of editable document that appears as a sidebar next to each Slack channel.
This is a common location to place team todo lists.
It would be great if there was a way to associate an Asana project with a Slack channel and then all the tasks in the project that are incomplete would appear in the Slack Canvas for that channel.
As it currently stands, the tracking of tasks is duplicated across products.

This would be a much better Slack integration for Asana. Currently we have a lot of product teams that are using Slack’s Canvas and Lists to track work as it keeps it all visible in the team channels. The problem they have with Asana is that not everyone has access (we are a VERY large company) nor do they want to spend effort getting them up to speed on how to use it.
So if we could create a canvas page that incorporates an Asana List View of a project, that would be amazing.
