Inbox Notification spot not showing up when there is new items in inbox

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing: When I’m assigned to a task, the inbox notification spot doesn’t appear until hours later or not at all, but the task shows up in the inbox correctly.

Steps to reproduce: Task is re-assigned to user, user doesn’t get Inbox yellow spot notification, but inbox is populated

Browser version: Chrome/89.0.4389.90

Welcome to the Asana Community Forum!
I think you have to clear the cache & browsing history then restart the browser and I hope it will work! Also, try to use incognito mode in the browser!
