Hello,
I need support for the following case; I am building a project template, which includes multiples tasks that all have due dates in relative dates. The relatives dates are using the Project Due dates. For instance, deliver XX 5 days before the Project Due date.
However, my issue is that when the template is used, at first it works. But then the project due date is moved to a later date, and all the relative dates of my tasks do not update automatically with the changed Project Due date.
Do you have a solution I can use ? Thank you

Totally get the use case. I’ve run into this too when using relative dates in templates. Right now those relative dates are applied when you create the project, but they don’t stay dynamically tied to the project’s due date afterward, so changing the project due date won’t auto-shift task dates.
Workarounds I use:
-
Timeline view: select all tasks and drag to shift everything by the same number of days. Dependencies keep spacing intact.
-
Bulk edit: filter to the tasks you want to move, select them, then adjust the due date to shift by +/− N days.
