Right now in Gantt view the Duration and Blocked By columns are always present by default. As of recently the ability to hide those columns from the Gantt view was added, which was a great improvement, but those columns still show by default for every new project.
It would be great if the default could be changed so that Duration and Blocked By were not present in the Gantt view and if someone wanted them to be present they would have to add them manually.
The benefit of doing it this way round is that it presents the viewer with more screen real estate to be able to view the full names of tasks. Currently the names of tasks are partially cut off because the Duration and Blocked By columns are present by default.
