I am onboarding my team into Asana and recently watched “Roll out Asana to your team (recording)”, and I attended the basic “Asana orientation”.
In these calls, the speakers shared hyperlinks to projects relating to Asana onboarding. When I clicked on the link, it made a copy of the project in my account. It was not a link to join the project with other people.
I would like to do the same thing, now that I am now planning on onboarding session for my team and have adapted one of the Asana onboarding projects to suit our company. I would like to share a link with them that sends them a copy of this project ready for them to complete. Is this possible?
Otherwise, would I need make my Asana onboarding project into a template in our team, then ask them to use this template?
Hi @hagwi, welcome to the Asana Forum, and thank you for making your first post!
The hyperlinked project you mentioned is an internal feature used by our Customer Education team, and unfortunately, it isn’t available in Asana.
As you suggested, using project templates is a great alternative and can help you achieve similar results. You might also find this article helpful. It’s packed with tips on setting up an effective onboarding template.
Additionally, if you’re on our Enterprise or Enterprise+ plan, you can explore the custom onboarding feature. This allows admins and super admins to tailor the onboarding process for new users to better suit your team’s needs.
I hope this answers your question! Let us know if there’s anything else we can assist with.
