I’m adding a custom task type to a project and it looks like one of my team members inadvertently created multiple iterations of a task type (“Campaign”). I’d like to consolidate these, but I’m not sure how to see which project each is used in. Is there an easy way to do this?

Hi Brian, I’m not sure if there is a way to directly show which projects a custom task type, like “Campaign,” is used in, but you can still consolidate duplicates. Start by using Advanced Search to filter tasks by the custom field and see all tasks across projects. Next, choose a single “Campaign” type and update all tasks to use it. Once that’s done, you can safely delete the extra duplicates. This approach keeps your projects clean and consistent without losing any data.
