See in which projects a Task type is being used

I really like having the functionality of Task types. However, as an admin for my company, it would be even more beneficial if I could see where the task types are being used (like custom fields!). Allowing this helps me keep our library cleaner since people tend to make duplicates of the task types.

HI @AbigailB

Within the ‘Agents’ tab, there is a list view of all task types. This doesn’t show which projects they are in but shows how many tasks are present, who created them (if someone has created these duplicated ones) when they were last modified and created - so this may help? Unfortunately, Asana from what I can see doesn’t have a list where you can see associated projects for these task types - but you could submit this for consideration in product feedback

Thank you, Rebecca. Yes, I check our library from the Agents tab but only seeing how many times the task type has been used is not too helpful! Hopefully this is a feature we can get in the future!

Good idea, @AbigailB ! I voted and slightly modified the thread title to clarify we want to see which projects a task type is used in - hope you don’t mind

In the meantime, here is a potential workaround:

Thank you!

Am I missing this option mentioned in the other thread?
