I have a question regarding the fields displayed in a task when it belongs to two or more projects.
Previously, fields were automatically merged when the same task was added to multiple projects.
Since the introduction of the collapsible project panel, fields now appear multiple times when the same global field is used across several projects (the data remains synchronized between the duplicated fields). As a result, the amount of space taken by these fields can become quite significant.
Is there a display customization option that would allow these fields to be grouped or stacked in order to save space and avoid duplicates?
If not, would you recommend any solution or best practice to manage this situation (other than removing the fields from the various projects)?
Over the years, we have developed automations and project-specific fields for many projects, and some of our tasks have now become quite bloated and difficult to navigate.
