Is there a way to mark all notifications as read in the Inbox? I have thousands of pending notifications, some even from last year, and the red notification icon is constantly visible. It’s quite irritating, and I’d like to clear it out and remove that red indicator.

There isn’t a ‘Mark all as read’ button but there is an ‘Archive all’ button which I think is what you are looking for. It will send all your notifications to the Archive tab of your Inbox.

But the archive all option is even greyed out.
And also, I do not want to archive
Um, it’s filled solid grey in my screenshot because I’m highlighting it with my mouse.
Otherwise, it is never greyed out - it’s just made unavailable once you have actually archived all notifications.
But anyway, @Matang_Saxena , if you don’t want to archive, then I guess this won’t work for you
