How to hide sections when I completed all the tasks inside the section?

Was looking for a way to do this today! This topic has been open for the better part of six years, along with two feature requests that have also been open for five years.

Mark Sections as Complete (in new spreadsheet List view)

NEED: The ability to mark a section as complete so it no longer appears within a project when filtering for incomplete tasks. AND to be able to do that without deleting the history of tasks within that section. Archive a Section in a Project

When you mark a Section task complete currently, the tasks that were below it lose their reference to the section (whether they are marked Complete or not). It would be ideal to be able to remove completed Sections from view in a Project, without losing the link between the Section and the Tasks that were in it.

@Marie has responded to some of those threads, has this need been addressed by an alternative solution, or is it still on a roadmap?
