Hello community! I’m trying to figure out how to get subtasks that are assigned to multiple people, to show up in the “list” view when I filter by assignee?
Example: There is one task, “align budget,” and within it there are are two subtasks: one assigned to me, and one assigned to my colleague. The overall task is not assigned to either of us, as we both have responsibilities. When I go to the list view and filter by “assignee,” neither subtask is showing up for me nor for my colleague.
If I understand correctly, you need to add the subtask to the project. That way it will show up in list view.
Can you elaborate on what you mean by this, please? Is it not by default in the project when it’s added as a subtask? Do I essentially need to multi-home it into the broader project?
That is exactly what you need to do, multi home it in the project the main task is in. You can click the dots and choose “add to project”.
A subtask is not in the project just because the main task is.
