Issue: I want to link to an asana task from another place (e.g. google docs). If I use the copy task link feature then only the url is copied. But it would be much easier for readers if it would also copy the title of the task.
I only know 2 workarounds:
Click in list-view on the left side of the task to select the whole task and then CMD + C
Type in the description @ to create a link to the current task and then copy-paste this link. Then delete this link again
Is there another way? I do this use case often each day, so an easy solution would help me a lot.
Hi @Andreas_Bossard, thanks for taking the time to share this feedback with us!
Currently, the workaround you have mentioned is the only way to copy the title of the task with the URL. Copying using the link icon will only copy the URL.
Hopefully this is something our Product team can implement for task links in the future! I’ll come back to this thread should we have any updates in the future!
This is something I do about 20 times per day. Constantly having to copy & paste twice is a pain. Ideally there should be way to copy both the title and the link in one go. @Rebecca_McGrath is there someway to escalate this feature request?
