How do I copy and paste task(s) from one project to another? I don’t want to have to re-enter all the tasks for similar projects, it too time consuming.

There are actually multiple ways to copy and past tasks and they differ on what you want to achieve.
If you would like to do that on a regular basis you can create a template (premium function)
If you have task(s) that should live in multiple projects you can actually assign multiple projects to a task. That is a very handy feature since you do not have to keep track of multiple tasks.
And if you really want to have copied tasks you can duplicate a task and then assign it to another project. This makes sense if you have one task but more than one person should do it. E. g. if a survey needs to be filled out you can create one task and then duplicate it to assign it to each participant.
If you have to copy and past tasks regurarly you can do that from a template.
