How do I widen the task name column

Hi,
I am using the desktop version and am trying to figure out how to widen the ‘task name’ column so that I can see the whole text, not just part of it. I can widen or narrow the other columns such as projects, priority and due date by clicking on the ‘set column width’ option but can’t seen to do the same with the task name column - there is no option showing for this that I can see. When I try to drag the line over to extend it, it doesn’t work.

Can anyone help please?

Welcome to the forum!

I’m not sure where you found the set clolumn width option.

Here are a couple of options to be able to widen the task name column further:

  • Hide the sidebar (hamburger menu top left or [tab]+[o])
  • Lower scaling percentage (in Windows this is found in Display Settings)
  • When possible, increase the width of the window you use

The width of the Task name column should increase and/or you’ll be able to drag it wider after adjusting one of these.
