How do I set up notifications (email or iPhone) to alert me of upcoming due tasks?

I know how to receive notifications for when due dates are changed, but I would love to receive an email for when a due date is coming up for a task I was assigned to. For instance, if a task has a due date of this Friday, April the 9th, I would like to set it up to send me a reminder the Wednesday before the due date to remind me that it needs to get done. I only receive notices when due dates have passed.

That will generate changes in your My Tasks and maybe you won’t even need the email notifications. But if you want those too, I think you could modify the rules to send you an email as well.
